Volvo of Stamford Greenwich Cup
Stamford, CT (2/26/10): Volvo of Stamford is pleased to announce a new partnership with local running retail store, Threads & Treads of Greenwich, CT, as Title Sponsor of the annual Greenwich Cup. As such, the popular running and Triathlon series is renamed the Volvo of Stamford Greenwich Cup.
The Riley family has owned and operated automotive dealerships in Stamford since 1959, currently selling and servicing the Volvo and Mazda brands to residents and businesses throughout Fairfield and Westchester Counties.
As an avid runner and athlete, General Sales Manager and third generation Riley, Jameson Riley purchases running shoes and gear from Threads & Treads, making this partnership a perfect fit: "The family environment at Threads & Treads is very similar to that of our dealerships, and as a local business, I visit their store frequently for my running gear. We're excited to sponsor this great local series, and I'll be participating in most of the events throughout the year."
Mick Yardis, owner of Threads & Treads, is equally excited about partnering with Volvo of Stamford: "Threads & Treads is excited to welcome Volvo of Stamford as the new title sponsor of the Greenwich Cup.
